Understand how inspection data, purchases and website visits are handled.

1. Scope and developer

This policy covers the HandoSnap inspection app and this support website, provided by the HandoSnap developer. It describes information handling related to inspections, store purchases and website visits. Available features and system behavior depend on the installed version and platform.

2. Inspection data on your device

You may enter item names, identifiers, addresses, participant names, notes, readings, accessories, photos, videos and signatures. The app primarily stores this information on your device for inspections, comparisons, reports and backups. HandoSnap has no app account, developer-operated cloud sync or advertising service, and currently includes no third-party analytics SDK. Record only necessary information and obtain appropriate authorization before recording information about other people.

3. Permissions and photo metadata

The camera is used when you choose to capture photos or silent videos. In-app recording does not record sound or request microphone access. System photo and file pickers are used to import selected media or backups. Denying access may prevent the corresponding feature from working; existing records remain accessible as supported by the app. Photos may contain existing capture dates, device details or location metadata. The app does not promise to remove all metadata automatically. Review files before sharing. Device time and metadata are not independent certification.

4. Sharing and backups

PDFs, photos, signatures, ZIP packages and backups you export or share may contain personal information. Recipients and selected services handle them under their own rules; the developer cannot recall shared copies. Operating-system backups, device transfers, iCloud, Google and other device services may also process backups according to device settings and app version. Local-first storage does not mean data can never enter a system backup. The current version exports ordinary backups without an app backup passphrase or app-layer backup encryption. Backups may contain original photos, videos and signatures. Anyone who receives the file may be able to read its contents; store backups only in trusted locations and manage copies yourself.

5. Store purchases

Versions offering Pro use Apple App Store or the applicable Android store for payment. The app may locally retain product identifiers, transaction evidence and access status to unlock, restore and verify purchases. The developer does not take payments through this website or receive bank card details from the app. Stores independently process accounts, orders and refunds under their own privacy policies. Cross-platform purchases are not promised; restoring purchases does not restore inspection data.

6. Retention and deletion

Inspection data generally remains until you delete it, clear app data or uninstall the app. Export records you need before deletion and review the installed version’s prompts about related files and history. The developer has no inspection-data copy on a developer-operated server and cannot remotely recover device data. Deleting local data does not delete exported, shared, system-backed-up or externally stored copies; manage those separately at their destination.

7. Website visits

This website serves static help and policy pages. It has no advertising, analytics cookies, tracking scripts, login or document upload form. Network requests are processed to deliver pages. The HandoSnap site path does not intentionally retain routine access logs; server errors, security operations and hosting services may still involve IP addresses, request times, paths or request metadata. Do not include photos, signatures, passphrases or other sensitive information in URLs.

8. Security and children

The app and website use technical measures appropriate to their purpose, but no storage or network transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device, store account and backup files, and avoid keeping sensitive records on shared devices. This product is not designed for children. Do not record unnecessary personal information about children.

9. Updates and support

This page will be updated and dated when features or information handling change, with an additional app notice where appropriate. For usage questions, start with the support page. The developer has not provided a direct contact channel on this page yet; contact details needed for formal distribution will be added separately.
